Human Trafficking in Cabarrus County - What to Look for, What to Do
Unfortunately, the hospitality industry is ripe for unknown collusion in human trafficking. Many of us are open to the general public with a wide range of operating hours and it's easy to get lost in large groups of people gathering. Not to mention much of our county is on I85, which can be considered one of the busiest highways in North Carolina. Human trafficking is on the rise and our county sits next to a county that has the highest rate of trafficking in the state.
Hear from two local experts that can help us identify potential situations and give us tools on how to handle. Hear about what law enforcement needs from our industry.
